Carmen Tibideaux ist vom Auftritt der beiden zwar begeistert, weist aber darauf hin, dass die Aufgabe nicht erfüllt ist, da sie als Individuen singen sollten und gibt ihnen noch eine Chance.
Das Original stammt aus dem Musical Follies, welches seine Uraufführung 1971 hatte.
