Everybdy Hurts ist ein Song aus der zwanzigsten Episode der vierten Staffel, Licht aus, und wird von Ryder gesungen. Der Song ist sein Beitrag zur Unplugged-Woche, wobei er aber auf instrumentalische Begleitung besteht, da er sich ansonsten nicht offenbaren kann. Während des Songs werden Rückblenden gezeigt, wie Jake, Marley und Tina geslushied werden. Als er fertig ist, applaudieren die New Directions ihm, während Will ihm ein Lob dafür ausspricht. Ryder meint, dass er das machen musste, weil er sich dem, was in ihm ist, stellen muss. Daraufhin offenbart er ihnen, dass er als Elfjähriger von seiner Babysitterin sexuell belästigt wurde.
