We Need a Little Christmas ist ein Song aus der zehnten Folge der zweiten Staffel, Wie Sue Weihnachten gestohlen hat, und wird von Kurt, Mercedes und Tina mit den New Directions gesungen, während sie dabei von Klassenzimmer zu Klassenzimmer gehen. Die Schüler sind alles andere als begeistert und fangen mittendrin an, sie zu beschimpfen. Als sogar die Lehrerin ihren Schuh nach ihnen wirft, treten die New Directions den Rückzug an.
Das Original stammt aus dem Musical Mame, das im Jahre 1966 seine Premiere hatte.
