Contexto de la Canción[]
Kurt llega al escenario del auditorio vestido como el Fantasma de la Ópera para hacer su audición a NYADA frente a la Jueza Carmen Tibideaux, preparado para cantar "The Music Of The Night". Sin embargo, luego de que anuncia su canción, ve la expresión de aburrimiento de la Jueza y decide cambiar y, en su lugar, cantar Not The Boy Next Door. Luego de una presentación excelente, con Brittany, Tina y Mercedes bailando de fondo, la Jueza Tibideaux lo felicita por haber tomado el riesgo.
