If I Were A Boy di Beyoncé è una canzone presente nell'episodio La fine del Twerk, il quinto della Quinta Stagione, in cui è cantata da Unique in versione acustica.
Unique è vittima di bullismo perchè utilizza il bagno dei ragazzi al McKinley. Dopo essere stato deriso da un gruppo di ragazzi, Unique canta questa canzone mentre si trova contro l'angolo del bagno, spaventato e triste. Poi continua nella Sala del Coro, dove continua a piangere mentre canta e le Nuove Direzioni capiscono il suo dolore nella sua voce. Alla fine della performance Jake si alza per chiedere i nomi dei bulli così da potergli dare una lezione, ma Unique sa che non è una soluzione, e gli dice che apprezza il loro sostegno ma non risolverà nulla picchiarli, e potrebbero solo peggiorare la situazione.
