Melissa Marie Benoist (Littleton, Colorado 4 Ottobre 1988) è un'attrice e cantante statunitense. Interpreta attualmente Marley Rose in Glee. Fa la sua prima apparizione nell'episodio La nuova Rachel. Biografia[]
Melissa Benoist nasce a Littleton, nel Colorado, il 4 ottobre 1988. Si diploma nel 2007 all'Arapahoe High School. Dopo aver partecipato come guest star a diverse serie televisive, nel maggio 2012, si presenta all'audizione per Glee, cantando diverse canzoni: "Fidelity" di Regina Spektor, "King of Anything" di Sara Bareilles, un brano di Colbie Caillat e alcuni tratti dai musical. Al luglio, dopo alcuni screen test, entra nel cast nel ruolo di Marley Rose . Intorno al 2012 sul set di Glee conosce Blake Jenner , che interpreta Ryder Lynn , con cui inseguito inizia una relazione. L'11 giugno 2013 i due annunciano il loro fidanzamento , i due si sono sposati , in una cerimonia privata a fine marzo 2015, anche se la notizia è stata confermata solo a luglio .
