Ryder decides to take matters into his hands, asking Marley to go out with him. But Marley says she'll think about this decision because she's still coping with the pain Jake caused. An Innocent Man begins as Ryder looks into one of the mirrors on display for the Career Fair. He walks around the hallways and stops at The Choir Room entrance, singing as he watches Marley. Ryder walks in and continues to perform much to some of the Glee Club's intrigued gazes. Marley sees Ryder in a new light as Jake is seen with a guilty expression. As soon as Ryder finishes his performance, he asks Marley the question, once again. With Marley's reply as 'Yes', Jake storms out of the room as Marley and Ryder are filled with satisfaction.
