William "Billy" Lewis Jr., born August 15th 1990,[1] is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. He made his TV debut as cheerleader Mason McCarthy in the sixth season of Glee.
Personal life[]
Billy Lewis Jr. is a New York based singer/songwriter/actor. Billy's performance career began in regional theatre in his hometown of Selden, New York, and quickly led him to New York City.
Since 2010, Billy has been working steadily in professional regional theatre (The Who's Tommy, Spring Awakening, Hedwig & the Angry Inch) as well as being featured in the national touring companies of Hair, Spring Awakening and Queens' We Will Rock You. He has also performed in several national theatrical concerts & benefit performances.
In July of 2014 Billy released his debut EP of original music, produced by Jack Daley, as well as two music videos (The Flood and Jealousy) and a live release performance at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater in NYC.

- He auditioned for the show with the song Maybe I'm Amazed by Paul McCartney.
- Billy and Laura Dreyfuss (his on-screen twin) met each other a while before Glee in a touring production of Hair, and have been close ever since.
