Glee: The Complete Fourth Season was originally supposed to be released on September 17 in the US, September 16 in the UK, however, due to Cory Monteith's (Finn) death, Glee decided to re-design the Season 4 DVD cover art to include an image of Finn, which altered the release date to October 1.
