Jeff Sterling is a student at Dalton Academy and part of the Dalton Academy Warblers. He appears in every Warblers performance in Season Two, with the exception of Teenage Dream. He is absent during McKinley's performance of West Side Story, for unknown reasons. In Love, Love, Love, he isn't present for the performances of Help! and All You Need Is Love.
He is portrayed by Riker Lynch.
Jeff, along with the rest of the Warblers, is introduced in the ninth episode of Season Two. He is given the opportunity to audition for a solo, along with his fellow Warblers Kurt and Nick. When Kurt asks how many times they have already tried out for a solo, Jeff answers that he has auditioned six times before. Jeff and Nick move on from the initial round of auditions while Kurt does not.
He sings Bills, Bills, Bills with the Warblers.
He sings When I Get You Alone and Silly Love Songs with the Warblers.
He dances to Animal with the Warblers.
He is noticeably affected by Kurt's impromptu rendition of Blackbird and joins in with the other Warblers singing background vocals. Jeff also immediately votes for Kurt to duet with Blaine at Regionals when the council puts it up for a vote.
He sings Somewhere Only We Know together with the Warblers in order to say goodbye to Kurt.
S3= The First Time
He sings the background vocals to Nick's Uptown Girl, together with the other Warblers.
He sings alongside Sebastian and the Warblers in the Bad performance head-to-head against the New Directions. He is seen partnered with Quinn Fabray for the dance-fight number. He is present in the Black or White number with the New Directions in the McKinley Auditorium. In the end, he and the Warblers agree that Sebastian has taken things too far.
Jeff performs Stand and Glad You Came at Regionals with the Warblers.
S4= Dynamic Duets
Jeff is present when Blaine visits Dalton Academy, in order to get the New Directions' nationals trophy back. He also performs in My Dark Side.
Jeff performs Whistle and Live While We're Young at Sectionals together with the other Warblers.
He is shown to be among the Warblers who agreed to be doped during this episode.
