Joshua "Josh" Sussman, born December 30, 1983,[1] is an American actor. He is known for his role as Hugh Normous in Wizards of Waverly Place, as Randy on Fish Hooks, and as Jacob Ben Israel on Glee between 2009 and 2012, and again in 2015.

Personal life

Sussman grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey. He studied acting for two years at the School for Film and Television in New York City, an intense Meisner technique-based program. He is a master Connect Four player.

Sussman has been in a relationship with Tess Hunt for three years and he is living in Los Angeles, California.[2]

Career

Sussman had a recurring role on Glee since Season One. He revealed that he won't appear in Season Five,[3] however he appeared briefly in "Opening Night."
