Kitty Wilde is a major character on Glee. Kitty is an alumna of William McKinley High School where she was captain of the Cheerios and a member of the New Directions.

Kitty is introduced as a mean popular girl who is disliked by almost everyone. Kitty manipulates and bullies Marley Rose making her believe that she has a weight problem, while pretending to be her friend. Because of this manipulation, Marley ends up developing an eating disorder, which comes to breaking point in Thanksgiving, when she faints at Sectionals. Throughout the season, Kitty slowly becomes more open and friendly, apologizing to Marley and becoming an active member of the Glee Club. She also becomes good friends with Unique Adams throughout her time in the glee club.

In Season Five, she begins a relationship with Artie in Love, Love, Love, despite her initial concerns about going public. Kitty supports Tina after she is Carrie'd in Tina in the Sky with Diamonds, despite her alliance with the Cheerios. During this season, her harshness towards the rest of the members of the club is greatly lessened.

After the glee club was disbanded, she and Artie break up, the details if which are never explained. In Season Six, it is seen that she is still a Cheerio and the only one out of the latest members of the glee club who was never transferred to another school. Her old behavior has returned because she was bitter and felt that she was mistreated by Artie and the rest of the original group when they all left town. In The Hurt Locker, Part Two, she rejoins New Directions and she's been shown to have a nicer attitude to Rachel and the new additions to the club similar to how she was before the disbandment. Throughout the season she is seen to be friendly and affectionate with Artie, but they are not shown getting back together. In Dreams Come True, after winning the Nationals with the New Directions, she graduates from McKinley, moves to New York, and contunues living a happy life, being a kind person and keeps in touch with her old friends.

She was a recurring character in Season Four, promoted to the main cast in Season Five before being demoted as a recurring character again in Season Six. She is portrayed by actress, singer and dancer Becca Tobin.

The New Rachel
Kitty is the new head cheerleader, and has a very arrogant and bossy personality. She is described by Sue as "a young Quinn Fabray," but "not pregnant, manic depressive, or in and out of a wheelchair." At first, she is a "friend" of New Directions, because they are popular. During lunch with the Glee Club, she makes a very racist comment, stating that she initially wanted a popularity homecoming float with all white people, but now suggests having all white chrysanthemums. Later, she is seen at the Lima Bean where she tells Kurt that her iced latte is too cold. She makes fun of Marley's mom and Marley gets mad and reveals that she is the daughter of the new cook. At last, when the Glee Club comes to ask forgiveness from Marley for insulting both Marley and her mother, she says to the Glee Club members that their 'popularity invitation' was not extended to both Marley and Unique. Blaine says because of that, they're no longer part of their crew, and therefore her friends throw slushies at Marley and Unique.

Britney 2.0

During the performance of Gimme More, Kitty notices that Brittany was lip-syncing and she yells it out to everyone else. Later in the episode, when Marley was in the hallway with Jake, she interrupts their conversation and tells Marley that they're dating. In grief, Marley gives her the jacket (that Kitty says looks better on her) Jake gave her earlier and she leaves in tears, watching Kitty and Jake walk off together.

The Break-Up
Kitty invites Marley to the Left Behind Club, in order to prepare for the apocalypse. In the meeting at Breadstix, Kitty begins to talk about the return of Jesus and the rapture and describes the true believers being lifted up to heaven. To demonstrate this she stages a fake rapture that goes too far for Tina's assistant, Dottie Kazatori, leaving her traumatized. Later in the episode, she overhears another conversation between Jake and Marley, and then starts throwing insults about her and her mother's weight. When Jake tells her to ease up or he'll break up with her, Kitty warns that she's like a bad Carrie Underwood song once she gets going. Jake then ends his relationship with Kitty. Kitty then cites it as Marley's fault and warns them both that she will hurt them.

The Role You Were Born to Play

Kitty is first seen talking to Jake, who she notices seems to him being jealous because of the innocent flirting between Marley and Ryder. She then interrupts the conversation between Marley and Ryder saying that she is also auditioning for Sandy for the school musical Grease. She then makes crude remarks to Marley about her mom and Marley herself saying that she paints herself as the nice girl, but really is a scheming little kiss-ass, which makes Marley run in tears and Ryder calling her a bitch. When she signs her name on the sign up sheet, Jake asks her to sign him up as well, saying that he needs to be there to keep her from killing Marley. But Kitty sees this as an attempt to stop Marley from fornicating Ryder. After that, Kitty and Jake audition by performing Everybody Talks. As part of the call backs for the leads, her, Jake, Marley, and Ryder perform Born to Hand Jive with the New Directions, Mike, and Mercedes. When the cast list goes up, it is revealed that Marley got the lead of Sandy and she received role of Patty Simcox leaving her very much dissatisfied. It is also revealed in this episode that her full name is Kitty Wilde.

Kitty's sleepover

Kitty is first seen going to her fitting where she calls on Tina. Sugar questions why she is there thinking that she quit because her part was too small, but Kitty says that "there are no small parts, just fat actresses," making a reference to Marley. She then points out Marley's weight gain, which Marley tries to explain that she's not eating any differently. It is later revealed that Kitty sabotaged the costume to make it smaller. To get to know the others better, she invites Marley, Tina, Brittany, Unique, and Sugar to a sleepover in her house. At the sleepover, she sees that Marley is looking for more healthy things to eat, so she takes her to the bathroom where she shows her how to throw up. At first Marley believes it to be gross, but Kitty says she thinks it's more gross having a tummy exploding because she didn't binge or purge. While Marley's in the bathroom, Kitty makes fun of Marley by singing Look At Me I'm Sandra Dee. Later, in the backstage of the Grease play, she reminds Marley about the "two fingers" (the ones that she has to put in her mouth in order to vomit) saying that she can lose two inches by curtain. Before the final number, Kitty says that a merciless theatre stage critic Fletcher Mantini is in the audience to both Marley and Ryder. Those words have an effect on Marley. She is then seen as Patty Simcox in the performance of You're the One That I Want.

Dynamic Duets

Kitty and Marley in Some Nights

Kitty first appears when Finn introduces her and Ryder to the glee club. Finn explains that she joined because she was amazing in the school's play, Grease. Finn notices the apparent animosity between Kitty and Marley, and so pairs them up to perform their superhero duet. Later, Kitty goes to Marley's locker, giving her the song that she has chosen for them to sing, a song she says will show off her vocal bombasity while highlighting Marley's mousy softness. Later during the week Marley confides to her that she can't perform the duet because she can't perform wearing a costume of clingy fabric. Kitty then reminds her of the 'finger sisters' and asks if she is still vomiting. Marley reveals that she has been doing it all week. Kitty then says if Marley doesn't feel comfortable, she will cancel the duet. As they hug, Kitty shows a conniving smile indicating that she's only pretending to be Marley's friend. Before their performance, Kitty sees that Marley is uncomfortable in her costume. Marley reveals that her alter ego is 'Wallflower' because that is the way she saw herself. Kitty then says that Marley looks hot and that she will be buying Marley's clothes from now on. For a final boost of confidence, Kitty says that she is no longer 'Wallflower' but instead 'Woman Fierce,' and that they are going to kill their song. They sing Holding Out for a Hero together for the assignment, and it seems that everyone likes the performance. Kitty overhears that Ryder has to reschedule his date with Marley, and so tries to convince her that Ryder didn't have to cancel, but instead is not interested in her. She says that if Marley wants to fight for Ryder's attention she needs to lose weight, fast. Unexpectedly Marley asks Jake out, leaving Kitty shocked. At last, Kitty is seen very friendly with Marley in Some Nights, but when Marley turns around Kitty rolls her eyes.

Kitty and Quinn

After introducing some Glee club alumni to the New Directions, Finn announces that Quinn will mentor her in order to win Sectionals, Kitty runs happily and faster to hug Quinn, commenting that they're so alike. Later, when Quinn and Kitty talk alone she tells that she would have thrown such a hissy if Finn didn't pair them together, because Kitty idolizes Quinn. She even confesses that she asks herself "What would Quinn Fabray do?."  When Jake and Marley walk past, Kitty lies to Quinn that Jake is distracting Marley to win, pressuring Marley to have sex with him. Later, Quinn gives some notes about how to win the competition, and after that Kitty gives her a hug and thanks her. When Kitty leaves, Santana describes her as 'pure evil', mentioning her suspicions that Kitty is giving laxatives to Marley. At Sectionals, Kitty is seen dancing in the performance of Gangnam Style, specifically when Marley is dizzy and about to collapse.

Swan Song
Kitty first appears when the glee club carries Marley backstage (because of the events at the end of Thanksgiving), telling Marley to drink the juice that the other members have given her. There Santana accuses Kitty of getting into Marley's head and causing her to starve herself. The next day, in the now empty choir room, Finn and Will announce that glee club is over until the next school year. She also is seen in the performance of Don't Dream It's Over.

In a deleted scene, Marley finds Kitty crying in the bathroom because of New Directions' loss at Sectionals, though she claims it is because she has allergies. Kitty admits that she has been awful to Marley and is confused as to why Marley is still being nice to her; Marley responds that she thinks that Kitty's meanness is just because she's scared. Marley then invites Kitty to come and discuss song choices for their last performance, but Kitty sharply rebuffs her. However, she then calls Marley back and, in a friendlier tone, thanks her for asking.

Glee, Actually

Kitty has a minor role in this episode. She first appears during Artie's dream, when he performs Feliz Navidad in order to establish a glee club. She tells Artie that the choir room is really Sue's craft room. She later performs Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas with New Directions.

Sadie Hawkins

Puck y kitty sadie hawkins-copia.jpg
After the Sadie Hawkins dance is announced, Kitty's excitement worries Marley, who fears she will go after Jake again. After Marley, Brittany and the other New Directions Girls perform Tell Him, Marley asks Jake to go to the dance with her, to which he agrees. This upsets Kitty, who then confronts Jake. She tells him that Marley will not let him to second base, and offers him to have sex with her if he chooses herself over Marley. She is confronted some time later by Puck, who warns her off, while also admitting how hard it is to resist a Puckerman male. Kitty reveals that she doesn't actually like Jake: "I'm a mean, hot bitch that likes to get what she wants," she explains, pointing out that to leave Jake alone, she'll need another boy as her date to the dance, in the form of Puck himself. At the dance, Kitty and Puck exchange insults, but actually grow closer. She admits she read and liked his screenplay, and the two dash out for a rendez-vous in the parking lot.

Kitty first appears when Finn announces that the New Directions are back and Tina says that they can make a Men of McKinley calendar to collect money for Regionals, an idea which everybody seems happy with. She is the main Cheerio dancer in the performance of the New Directions Boys' Hot In Herre/Centerfold, spray tans the boys, and later tells Ryder and Jake what they will be wearing for the photoshoot, and subsequently, she seems to express boredom during Jake's performance of Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself), which he dedicates to Marley. She is later seen in the New Directions' This Is the New Year performance.

She first appears when Finn and Emma announce to New Directions the "Diva Week" to make find to the kids their inner strength and security on the voice, elements that will help the New Directions to win the race. Kitty later performs Diva with some of the other glee club members. Kitty is also one of the main dancers of Tina's week song, Hung Up. She is last seen upset when Emma and Finn announce the week winner, which is Tina.

Girls (and Boys) on Film

Kitty is present in the choir room with her fellow Glee Club members when Mr. Schuester announces the movie-themed assignment: singing songs from their favorite films. Kitty is later seen during the performance of Shout sings vocals. Marley confides with Kitty that Ryder kissed her on Valentine's Day, Kitty apologizes for her attempts to bring down Marley, believing both of their relationships with Puckerman men will bond them together in the future. Kitty gives her some not so great advice, suggesting that men are like diamonds and that Marley should "collect as many as [she] can." The girls perform a mash up of Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend/Material Girl. Kitty accompanies Will with the New Directions to serenade Emma with In Your Eyes. When Will announces that everyone wins the mash-off, Kitty is angry like the rest of New Directions. Kitty is later seen performing Footloose and sings group vocals.

Feud When Ryder, Unique, Marley, and Jake are discussing about their life problems that cause them feuds, Kitty interrupts them by saying that they all need to leave behind their problems with other people in order to win Regionals. Kitty shows a softer side and admits that all the New Directions members are her friends.

Guilty Pleasures

Secret britty.png
Kitty first appears in the choir room when Blaine and Sam explain the meaning of this week's theme: guilty pleasures. She performs with the New Directions Wham!'s Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go

Brittany talks to Kitty in the hallway about improving her negative image and invites her to appear on "Fondue For Two." During the interview, after Kitty and Brittany talk about their love of the Bring It On series, Kitty tells Brittany that her guilty pleasure is too horrible to admit and whispers it in her ear, leaving fangirl Tina anxious and upset that Kitty didn't say it out loud. Some of the Glee kids who watched the online interview demand to know Kitty's guilty pleasure. Kitty won't budge, but Brittany says that it's the Spice Girls, and Unique, Tina, and Marley are ecstatic about performing one of their songs.

Kitty ginger.png
The girls talk in the auditorium about which Spice Girls they want to be and after a brief discussion, Tina walks in in shock as she overheard Jake's guilty pleasure, which is Chris Brown, and it causes the girls to get mad, including Kitty. Later, the girls perform Wannabe by the Spice Girls, and Kitty portrays the Ginger Spice. At the end of the performance, Artie seems to be noticing Kitty a little bit. He then awkwardly tries to compliment her, but then says that she looks happy instead. Out in the hallway, Tina is dressed up as Vicky the android girl from the '80's cult classic, Small Wonder, which makes Kitty realize that she needs to hang around with normal people. Jake then walks by and apologizes about singing a Bobby Brown (he changed his choice) song, since he allegedly got Whitney Houston addicted to drugs, which he wasn't aware of. She also performs Mamma Mia by ABBA with New Directions.

Shooting Star

Will tells Kitty and the rest of New Directions about their competition for Regionals, when Brittany interrupts him and tells them about her discovery of a deadly asteroid heading straight for Lima (which results to be false). In the choir room, Mr. Schue tells the New Directions that they have two options now: they can either dismiss Brittany's theory and prepare for Regionals or they can believe it and make "Last Chance" this week's assignment. Kitty appears when the New Directions help Brittany with her "Last Chance" song, dedicating More Than Words to Lord Tubbington in order to tell him how much she loves him.

Kitty sad SS.png
Back in the choir room, the glee club is shocked when they hear a gunshot. Scared, Will tells the kids to hide while he and Shannon lock the doors and shut the lights. Kitty hides right next to Marley and, crying, confesses to Marley that during Grease she tightened her costumes so that she would think she’s gaining weight and afterwards runs towards Unique to apologize for her bad behavior. Both Marley and Unique embrace her, forgiving her for what she did. Time later, the SWAT announces the situation as “all clear," meaning the shooting is over. Relieved, everyone shares a big group hug. The next day, at her locker, Ryder accuses Kitty of being the one catfishing him, but she denies his accusations. At the last scene, she sings Say with New Directions, during the song, it is shown some videos filmed by Artie during the supposed school shooting (it resulted to be an accident produced by Becky) featuring Kitty (and other glee club members), saying that she loves her mom and dad and that this is her best school year.

Sweet Dreams Blaine conducts a secret Glee club meeting in the auditorium because they don't like the songs Mr. Schuester wants to do during Regionals because they're too old and they've already done one of the songs as a mash-up the year before. Marley brings up her songs and is quickly shot down, especially by Kitty, who does not want to sing about "a fat mother or a song about barfing, or a song about loving an octoroon." Kitty last appears when Will finally lets Marley to show one of her original songs, which is Outcast.

Lights Out

Ryder watches Kitty texting while he is texting Katie, and he asks her to show him her messages and she says to him that she is doing other things. She is also seen when Will tells to the New Directions that he is worried about their Regionals rivals, The Hoosierdaddies, but an unexpected power outage at McKinley happens and Kitty listens to Principal Figgins' instructions. Will later tells them about their new week assignment that he calls: "Unplugged week." When Ryder finishes to perform Everybody Hurts for the week assignment, he tells everyone that he was abused by his female babysitter when he was eleven, and Kitty becomes concerned for him. Later at Breadstix over dinner with a newly single Kitty, she tells Ryder that she experienced the same thing with a friend's older brother that ultimately caused her to switch schools when nobody seemed to understand. She wants Ryder to know that she empathizes with his experience. Kitty participates in the song We Will Rock You dancing and singing with all New Directions. When the electricity comes back, Ryder chats with Katie at the library's computers, and Kitty invites him to go have lunch with her. Ryder chooses to stay at the computer even after Kitty admits that she doesn't easily warm to people and she's not likely to give him another chance because she was starting to like him; she goes sad and angry. Finally, Kitty sings in the New Directions group a cappella number, Longest Time, where she and Ryder have intense looks at each other.

Kitty performing Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours.

Kitty confronts Artie about an apparent depression that she noted, believing that he's hopelessly longing for her, but he reveals that he was accepted into film school in New York, but won't be going - and he swears her to secrecy. Kitty's exuberant performance of Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours is capped by her revelation of Artie's secret to the glee club, which upsets him: apparently his mom is freaking out at the prospect of him being on his own in the big city, but Kitty surprises him with sweet words of encouragement. Kitty is offended when Mercedes says that her performance was good, but needs to be even better. Kitty is then seen dancing when Mercedes, Blaine and Marley perform Superstition. Artie arrives home from school to discover that Kitty discussing his film school secret with his mom, Nancy Abrams, who was shocked to learn Artie had been keeping it from her. Kitty leaves and Artie admits it's been him who was reluctant to accept, because he feels guilty about leaving his mom behind after all the sacrifices she's made for him. Kitty is then seen along with the rest of New Directions watching Mercedes perform Higher Ground; initially she is the only one not expressing any enjoyment at the performance, in contrast to her enthusiastic clubmates, but by the end she is smiling. She is last seen when the New Directions perform For Once in My Life.

All or Nothing

Kitty is seen when Will reveals that the Regionals competition will now be held in the McKinley High auditorium and reminds the New Directions that they need to bring everything they've got to the stage: "All or Nothing." She appears when Ryder demands to know who "Katie" is, or he won't participate in Regionals. At the Regionals, Brittany says goodbye to Kitty and her fellow glee club members. Kitty performs Hall of Fame, I Love It, and All or Nothing with the New Directions. She is happy when New Directions win Regionals again. At the end of the episode, Kitty is present during Will and Emma's surprise private wedding.

Becca Tobin, who plays Kitty Wilde, was promoted to series regular in Season Five.

Love, Love, Love

Kitty is seen in the choir room when Will announces that the Glee Club is doing a tribute to The Beatles, Kitty is seen to not be that excited about the Beatles. After everyone leaves the choir room, but Artie and Kitty, Artie invites Kitty to sit on his lap saying 'Your chariot awaits' and then Artie is seen wheeling Kitty out of the choir room and into the corridor. After Artie thanks Kitty for his admission to Brooklyn Film Academy, he invites her to BreadstiX, but she declines the offer because she hates BreadstiX. Instead they attend the carnival together. They later begin to sing Drive My Car during the carnival scene. There, Bree sees them and asks if they are together, Kitty denies it because she thinks that it will ruin her reputation, making Artie feeling sad. When Bree leaves, Kitty and Artie begin a secret relationship. They start to have secret meetings, and they share a duet, singing You've Got to Hide Your Love Away. During that performance, Tina suspects about what is happening between her and Artie, and that Kitty is also avoiding Artie in public. In the choir room, when Blaine announces he's going to propose to Kurt, she seems unsure about the idea, but still helps him gather the other show choirs during Help!. Back in the choir room, Tina exposes the secret relationship between Artie and Kitty and declares the fact that Kitty wanted to keep their relationship a secret is "emotional abuse" and goes on to say that Artie is a great guy who deserves to be loved openly, proudly and without conditions. Kitty agrees, although she is obviously annoyed with Tina. Kitty tells the New Directions that she wanted to keep it a secret, but only until she knew that she really liked Artie and was willing to risk her social standing at the school and getting hurt - by allowing Artie to "wheel into her heart." Kitty apologizes to Artie and tells him that they are "officially, publicly, shockingly - a thing." Everyone applaudes, happy for Artie and Kitty, except Tina who seems unhappy that her plan did not go according to plan. During I Saw Her Standing There, she is fangirling with the other New Direction Girls over the performance. Afterwards, she accompanies the New Directions with Vocal Adrenaline, Haverbrook School for the Deaf and the Dalton Academy Warblers to sing All You Need Is Love for Blaine's proposal to Kurt.

Tina in the Sky with Diamonds

Kitty can be seen with the rest of New Directions in the choir room in the beginning of the episode. After Kitty finds out that both Tina and herself are nominated for prom queen, Kitty announces that she will support Tina because it is her time to shine during her senior year, while she will have other chances to be prom queen. When Bree discovers that Kitty is not going to campaign for the crown, she cofronts her with a group of Cheerios, claiming that it is her duty to win the crown because a Cheerio has not won prom queen in years. Kitty is left standing speechless in the hallway, unsure whether to be confused or intimidated. Later, Kitty is seen walking through the hallways and is shocked to find dozens of posters of herself covering the walls, with her head photoshopped onto a model's body, promoting her for prom queen. Tina angrily storms up to her and accuses her of going back on her word to not campaign, but Kitty replies that she had nothing to do with the posters. Other members of New Directions then see the posters and also criticise her, despite her protests that she is innocent, and once they leave she angrily begins tearing down the posters, as Bree looks on from across the hallway.
Blitty TITSWD.png
At the prom, while New Directions perform Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, she takes a few photographs. She attends the prom with her boyfriend, Artie. Later, when Sue announces that the winners are Stoner Brett and Tina, she is happy and applauds Tina, but then notices that a bucket full of red slushie is about to fall onto Tina, as planned by Bree. Kitty tries to shout to Tina to warn her, but it is too late, and Tina is drenched in slushy, with many of the prom attendees laughing at her. New Directions follow her to the choir room and console her, and Kitty offers her prom dress to Tina, which she accepts. Kitty and the other girls clean Tina up and they return to the prom, with Kitty now wearing plain clothes, while singing Hey Jude, applauding Tina as she accepts her crown. At the end, New Directions perform Let It Be, with Kitty among those singing vocals.

The Quarterback

Kitty has her first minor role of the season and is seen for the first time singing Seasons of Love for Finn Hudson with some old and new New Directions members in the auditorium. In the choir room, Will has gathered everyone for an assignment in Finn's memory: they will sing for and about Finn to express their feelings and remember him together. She later sings back-up vocals for Mercedes when she is singing her dedication song for Finn, I'll Stand by You. Kitty also sings in the background during the Artie and Sam duet for him, Fire and Rain. She later watches when Santana breaks down while performing If I Die Young and during Puck's solo, No Surrender. Once Puck is done singing, she goes to hug him with everyone else before Santana storms in asking him where Finn's jacket is. Along with some of his glee club friends, she places some red drumsticks at Finn's locker memorial in his honour even though she thinks it's a bit cheesy. She is last seen when Rachel sings Make You Feel My Love for Finn.

A Katy or A Gaga

After Kitty identifies herself as a Gaga, Will announces that the "Gagas" will interpret a Katy Perry song, while the "Katys" will do Lady Gaga. Later, Artie and Kitty are seen walking in the hallway compaining about the assignment. Artie then he asks her if she is still okay dating someone so different from her, Kitty says that she has no problem and kisses him in response.

Unique, Kitty, Tina, and Jake are put together to come up with a 'Katy' song, since they classify themselves as "Gagas." Tina, Unique, and Kitty get really into the assignment, but Jake remains uninterested. When Jake says that he is helping Bree with a Cheerios performance, Kitty says that Bree is a very vile and mean girl. After the over-the-top performance of Applause from Team Katy, Team Gaga struggles to find a performance that can really top them, but Tina comes up with the idea to strip down the song into an acoustic number. When Team Gaga sings Wide Awake in front of the audience, it ends up being a successful hit. At last Kitty, dressed up in Katy Perry garb, Sue comes in with news that the New Directions have been suspended for their provocative clothing. Despite this, New Directions sing Roar to show that they are not backing down.

The End of Twerk

Blitty dance blaine kitty.gif
At the start of the episode, Kitty is in the choir room with the rest of New Directions, watching Blaine’s twerk video. When Artie says that it's physically impossible for him to twerk, Kitty cheekily says that she begs to differ, making Artie smile. After Mr. Schuester announces the assignment for the week, “twerking”, she is picked, along with Jake, as a coach to help the New Directions learn how to twerk in the auditorium. When Sue pledges to end twerking at McKinley, the New Directions are outraged. Will says that they are going to fight back, and the group sings Blurred Lines, in which Kitty has a solo. The whole school joins in, and cheers as the song comes to a close at the auditorium. When Unique performs If I Were a Boy, Kitty looks sad and holds Artie's hand throughout the performance.  She participates in a "presentation" Will holds for the school board. Kitty, along with Blaine, is tasked with presenting a bunch of dances that Will summarizes as "dirty dancing." They all used to be considered shocking years ago, yet aren't able to cause even a tiny uproar these days. Later, Kitty is seen at the next meeting, where Unique says that she needs to use the toilet. Kitty looks annoyed that Sue has made Unique resort to going to the toilet in the choir room. Later on, she enters the choir room, as Will rubs the board clean, and says that the twerking is over. At the end of the episode she sings in On Our Way with the rest of the New Directions.

Movin' Out

When Will describes the artist they will tribute this week Kitty gets excited thinking it will be Marilyn Manson, but is disappointed when it is revealed to be Billy Joel. Kitty then enjoys herself when Sam and Blaine start the week off by singing Movin' Out. She is seen watching Jake perform My Life and also, when Ryder came into the choir room to begin singing An Innocent Man, but she is seen to be looking confused with Tina. At last, she has solo lines in the New Directions performance, You May Be Right and dancing with some other students.

Puppet Master

Kitty is first seen in the choir room goofing off with the rest of the New Directions. She, along with others, is not pleased with Blaine's wish to direct what their performances for Nationals will be like. A Kitty puppet is seen in the performance of You're My Best Friend. After Blaine's hallucination she is seen packing up with other members and belittling Blaine because he didn't contribute at all to the glee meeting. Kitty is seen in the choir room when Jake tells the New Directions that he is bored and doesn't want to help choreograph because the others won't be able to do the moves anyway. She is seen watching Nasty/Rhythm Nation. At the end of the episode she is at the Glee Club meeting when Blaine apologizes and gives them all puppets. She is then seen in the performance of The Fox, portraying a cat.

Previously Unaired Christmas

Kitty is first seen at the Glee Club meeting, and she is excited about them "going green" with decorations. She is next seen at the McKinley High Non-Denominational Christmas Club meeting. After Artie announces that the Christmas Club will be doing a living nativity, Marley expresses her wish to get the role of Virgin Mary, Kitty shoots her down with a rude comment. Later Marley approaches Kitty in the hallway and tells her about the idea of all the New Directions Girls auditioning together for the part of Mary. After Kitty insults the girls and informs her that she doesn't want the part, Marley seems confused. She sings Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree with the rest of New Directions while decorating the Christmas tree. She is seen humming O Christmas Tree in the background when Sue comes to inspect their tree. When Unique, Marley, and Tina sing Mary's Boy Child for their audition for the role of the Virgin Mary, Kitty appears disturbed, but keeps it to herself.  She is in the History class when Sue announces the Glee Club being the winner of the Green themed Christmas tree decorating contest. Later when Marley wins the part, and sees that Kitty is not pleased about it, Marley offers Kitty the role, but Kitty turns it down saying she doesn't deserve to be Mary because she doesn't have the Virgin Mary spirit in her heart, which prompts Marley to discuss it with other Glee Club members.

Kitty and Jake as Mary and Joseph

Blaine wants Kitty to play Mary to make her feel better about herself, which will hopefully, make her feel like she can be nicer to everyone else. Everyone's being very selfless as Unique claims to have a secret plan to get Kitty to take on the role of Mary. With the entire Christmas club assembled, including Kitty, Unique sports a wig and super sparkly Diana Ross-inspired gown to lead Marley and Tina in rendition of the Supremes' Love Child. Kitty reacts in revulsion and offers to play the part of Mary, proving that Unique's plan worked. In the nativity scene, Becky arrives as Baby Jesus, the manger resting comfortably around her neck, and Kitty finishes the scene when she shows up as the Virgin Mary for them to sing Away In A Manger.

Kittina frenemies.png
Kitty is seen doing back-up vocals to Tina and Artie's Whenever I Call You Friend. Kitty is later mentioned by Tina when she says to Artie that Kitty is using Artie to become more popular, and refers to her as "the biggest bitch of McKinley" when they have a competition to become the generation's valedactorian. She later sings back-up vocals again in My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It), that is also sung by Artie and Tina. The performance ends when Tina, accidentally, throws Artie out of his wheelchair, and Kitty is seen mad about it. When Blaine assures Tina that Brown will accept her, Kitty jokes that Brown will have to open their gates extra wide to let her in. At last, she is seen dancing and singing to Breakaway.

Later she is seen in the bus during Sam's pep talk, and watching the competition choirs perform before the New Directions take the stage. Before their time to performe, the New Directions make a circle with Burt and Carole, where they talk about the late Finn Hudson. In Season Six, Becca Tobin was demoted to recurring cast.

Kitty after the "Problem" performance

Kitty is first seen after Artie, Brittany, Quinn and Santana had finished their performance of Problem. When Artie is praising the Cheerios for their dancing in Problem he says that "we could really use some of those moves in glee club", Kitty overhears this and walks over to him and tells him Yeah you could.. Artie is surprised to see Kitty because he thought that Sue made all the New Directions from the previous year transfer out of McKinley and then states that the New Directions needs her back. Kitty rejects his offer straight away, she tells him "You really think I'm going to join your stupid glee club after the way you treated all of us? The way you treated me when you went away to college?" she then tells him the reason why Sue didn't make her transfer was because she's smart enough to recognize a star player when she sees one. She then adds that Rachel is not a star player because she didn't even know any of the Sophomores names when the Alumni came back in 100, Brittany then adds that she knows her name is Quinn which makes Kitty role her eyes at her. Santana then asks her if she wants to be a star, and Kitty tells her that's rich coming from graduates that are pathetically stuffed in their Cheerios uniform again. Madison and Mason then interrupt asking if 2 people can try out together, Kitty is not surprised by this and mutters "Of course the incest twins want in," she then turns to the Cheerios wanting to leave because they have to explain to Madison and Mason why Flowers in The Attic is not a love story to aspire to and then walks away with the rest of the Cheerios.

Jagged Little Tapestry

Kitty herself does not appear in this episode, but she is mentioned when Becky wrongly calls Quinn by her name. She also appears briefly in a flashback during Will You Love Me Tomorrow/Head Over Feet, behind Blaine.

The Hurt Locker, Part Two

We first see Kitty walking down the halls of McKinley on her way to her classroom where she is approached and followed by Rachel who begins to tell her a lot about herself. Kitty replies to her asking if she is hitting on her which would be wrong because "the world is kind of rooting for you and Quinn Fabray". Rachel tells her that who she is important to her to which Kitty susses out that Rachel is just trying to get her back into New Directions. Rachel admits it and Kitty rejects the offer straight away and tells her that she has a reputation for being a selfish person and the only reason she joined Glee Club in the first place was because even though she knew it was going to hurt her reputation it was being led by Will who she described as a kind man committed to teaching and that there were a bunch of kids in there who would have her back when things got hairy. She walks out the classroom to where Rachel followed her again and told her that she knows she loves to perform, Kitty admits she did love it. Kitty begins to cry and tells Rachel that she misses the feeling of performing and she hates the fact her old friends abandoned her and the only reason she was still there was because Sue needed her for the cheerios but she knows exactly what Rachel is like and she doesn't want to join when she knows it will all be over again in a couple of weeks.

Kitty then pops into the Auditorium to check on the competition, she watches The Warblers perform My Sharona but leaves as soon as they finish the song.

Rachel is looking through old set list numbers when Kitty walks in and tells her that she'll join, she then questions where everybody is and Rachel tells her she had to postpone Glee club for an hour because she is still struggling to find a set list for the competition because she doesn't know what songs Sue would like. Kitty tells her that she knows exactly how to find out what songs Sue likes. We then see Kitty and Rachel break in to Sue's office, Kitty opens up Sue's laptop where she finds a file where there lists songs that Sue is emotionally vulnerable to.

The next day, Kitty walks into the Choir Room to rehearse for the competition with the rest of New Directions. Madison asks why she is here because she said that she was never going to join again and Kitty tells her that someone had to stop her from marrying her brother. Rachel gives all the New Directions a new set list to rehearse from and when most of them disagree to the idea, Kitty defends Rachel by saying they should listen to their teacher because she has more talent in her little finger than anyone in "this stinkin' rotten town". Then after Rachel gives everyone a pep talk, Spencer walks in announcing he is joining the New Directions to which Kitty and the other members are pleased to hear and they all hug each other.

Kitty performing It Must Have Been Love with Spencer

Afterwards, Rachel puts the trophy in the Choir room. Kitty then tells the New Directions to listen up, she tells them that they were up against the 2 best show choirs in the state and because they thrashed them they went home feeling like their willies were 2 inches shorter. She then tells them she will make fun of them at one point or another but she never wants to hear any of them discourage the things they do as a team. Then Kurt asks her to count down as everyone puts their hands in the middle and cheer.

What the World Needs Now

Kitty is present when Kurt and Rachel introduce the weeks theme which is "Burt Bacharach". She mutters to Spencer "This is a good time to go to the bathroom". When Mercedes then enters the room and asks everyone who wants to be mentored by me, Kitty along with the rest of New Directions enthusiastically get up wanting it to be them.

Kitty is next seen in the auditorium providing back-up with the rest of the Alumni and New Directions for Santana as she sings Alfie to her abuela.

Finally, at the end of the episode Kitty is present when the Alumni and New Directions surprise Brittany and Santana. She tells them both that "the new kids and I would be honored to cater, pass out programs and release the doves". Then everyone breaks out into a performance of What the World Needs Now as they sing it to Brittany and Santana, at the end everyone hugs and cheers.

Kitty is first seen when Sam calls upon a few friends to help out Rachel. When Sam and Kurt walk into the room she rolls her eyes and mutters "Oh for the love of all that's sacred what now?". Sam then explains to them that Rachel's house is being sold and Kitty chips in saying "Just to be clear we are still talking about Rachel or are you announcing your new gender". To which Sam denies her statement and says it's all about Rachel.

We next see Kitty in the Choir Room when Rachel announces the theme for the week is "Artists From Ohio" then Kurt butts in and says the real lesson is "Transitioning". Sam then announces that there is going to be a farewell party to say goodbye to Rachel's house which will be in her basement. Madison and Mason question the lesson and Kitty tells them to shut up.

Then, Kitty is next seen at Rachel's house part along with everyone else. She is present when Mercedes and Roderick perform All About That Bass and is seen dancing with Artie. Next Blaine and Kurt perform Somebody Loves You, Kitty can been seen dancing with everyone and when they bring in a fancy dress box Kitty is seen fighting over a pink tutu skirt with Spencer in which she loses. Also during the performance Kitty takes a selfie with Artie, takes a photo of Madison and gets up on stage and dances with Kurt. Then when Rachel and Sam perform Time After Time Kitty takes a photo of them which is put on Rachel's memory wall. Kitty along with Blaine then pick out a photo to stick in Rachel's scrap book.

Kitty is last seen in the auditorium as she watches Unique perform I Know Where I've Been with the Transpersons Choir, at the end of the performance she, along with everyone else go and hug Unique.

Child Star

Kitty is first seen in the audience as she watches Myron perform Lose My Breath. At first she seems shocked by Myron's choice of song, but as he gets into it so does she. Myron asks the New Directions how to improve on his performance and Kitty replies saying his dancers should smile more.

Kitty is next seen in the Choir Room with the rest of the New Directions when Rachel and Will announces that they are performing at Myron's bar mitzvah, Kitty is pleased to hear this and she immediately turns around to Jane and Roderick to discus ideas.

Then Kitty can be seen enjoying Spencer's performance of Friday I'm In Love, her and the New Directions join in with him.

After that Kitty is with the New Directions when Myron gets trapped in his stage pod, Sue declared that Spencer should climb up and save him but then Spencer suggests Roderick should do it, Kitty suggests to just get a ladder because there must be one somewhere but Roderick takes on the challenge. Kitty watches as Roderick climbs the ladder and when he gets down her along with New Directions cheer for him.

As soon as that's over, Kitty dances in the backround whilst Jane, Roderick and Spencer perform Uptown Funk. After that she performs back-up for Break Free and finally she is seen performing Cool Kids with the rest of the New Directions.

The Rise and Fall of Sue Sylvester

The episode opens with Kitty and the New Directions performing Rather Be for Will, where he comments that the performance was very impressive. in the next scene Will tells the glee club that Dalton Academy has burned to the ground therefore he is going to merge both the New Directions and the Dalton Academy Warblers to form a supergroup. Kitty comments saying where is Rachel since she should be there for that and Will replies saying she has gone to New York. Straight away the New Directions welcome the Warblers to their choir, except Jane.

Then, when Will is trying to work on the choreography for the newly merged show choir things are just not clicking and everyone notices it. Skylar is angry at the New Directions because of how basic the routine is and they still can't manage it, when he comments that women love their blazers Kitty comments "Do they?". Kurt states that they are the ones who opened their school for the Warblers, and Kitty comments back "Semi-opened".

We Built This Glee Club

During an argument with The former Warblers, she, along with Madison and Jane, states that they are the only three girls in the club so they don't want to be in the background. Later, she and Mr. Schue are coaching Roderick and Spencer the dance routines, in which Spencer gets injured. At Sectionals, Kitty sings and dance in all three songs from their setlist. Before the announcement, Kitty states she loves Waffles after the sponsor (a man with waffle costume) walks in to the auditorium. Main article: Jake-Kitty Relationship (Jitty)
The relationship is first seen in Britney 2.0, when Jake and Kitty reveal to Marley that they are in a relationship. Jake breaks up
with her in The Break-Up and Kitty blames it on Marley and says that he and Marley will regret it. In The Role You Were Born to Play, Kitty spots Jake looking at Ryder flirting with Marley and says that he is jealous, but after making fun of Marley. They talk at the sign up sheet and Kitty says that she has the perfect song for "us" to sing. They sing Everybody Talks in order to get the roles of Sandy and Danny in the musical of Grease. In the callbacks for Born to Hand Jive, Kitty begins to get feisty and at one point is taken of the stage by Jake after she tried to go after Marley. At the callback sheet, Jake and Kitty lose the roles of Sandy and Danny to Marley and Ryder, respectively. Jake getting the role of Putzie and Kitty getting Patty Simcox. Jake says that it didn't work out and Kitty says that he has been saying that a lot.

Main article: Kitty-Puck Relationship (Wilderman)
Because Jake is almost certain that Kitty will not let him go to the "Sadie Hawkins" - dance with Marley in peace, Puck promises that he will make sure she leaves them alone. Puck then
confronts Kitty and urges her into leaving Jake alone, explaining that she is pushing him into doing the wrong thing. Kitty admits that she isn't really interested in Jake, she just wants to take him to the dance for the sake of it. She then agrees that she would stay away from Jake if she had another date for the dance, to which Kitty and Puck agree to go the dance together. At the dance, they playfully exchange insults. Kitty then assures Puck, though, that she thinks highly of him. She then offers him to have sex in the back of her car, for which they leave the dance early. It is then revealed in I Do by Ryder that Puck is "currently dating a sophomore" who is more than likely Kitty. They are currently broken-up, as mentioned by Kitty in Lights Out. The context of this conversation also implies that she did not actually have sex with Puck as she tells him that she acts all slutty with guys, but freezes up when it gets serious.

Kitty and Ryder meet in The Role You Were Born to Play, and join the New Directions together in Dynamic Duets. Kitty expresses disgust over Ryder several times throughout the season. However, in Lights Out she is touched when Ryder is ridiculed for being molested. She takes him to BreadstiX, where she shares that she had been molested herself as a child, and thus understands him very well. Later, she asks him out, but is rejected in favour of Ryder's catfish, about which Kitty is visibly hurt.

Main article: Artie-Kitty Relationship (Wildebrams)

Wildebrams YGTHYLA.png
Artie and Kitty appear to be friends after Kitty joins glee club and are often dance partners in performances. Artie is shown to feel attracted to Kitty in Guilty Pleasures. She notices him being depressed in Wonder-ful. He tells her that he got accepted to a movie-school in New York, but isn't planning on going. Kitty then informs Artie's mother, who hadn't known of Artie's acceptance. Artie is grateful for Kitty's help, beginning a close friendship between the two.

They start a relationship in Love, Love, Love. Kitty is eager to keep their relationship a secret, much to Artie and Tina's disapproval. Together, they sing Drive My Car on their date at the carnival, and later they sing You've Got to Hide Your Love Away in response to their feelings about their secret relationship. When being confronted, she explains that she wanted to be sure she really liked Artie before she gave up her popularity by dating a less popular student. She agrees to make their relationship public then, though, in which they share a kiss and officially become an item. They go to Prom together in Tina in the Sky with Diamonds, and are both nominated for Prom King and Queen. In A Katy or A Gaga, Artie asks Kitty if she is comfortable dating someone as different than he is, and in response she kisses him. In New Directions, Kitty is crying as Artie is called up on the stage to receive his diploma. They apparently break up at some point prior to New New York, but are definitely broke up by Tested.

Kitty returns in Season Six when Rachel and Kurt reboot the glee club. In Homecoming, Kitty is bitter about how Artie treated her when he went to college. It is assumed Artie and Kitty made up and are friends again in What the World Needs Now. In Transitioning, they appear very intimate at Rachel's party but the status of their relationship is still unclear at this point.
