Martha Mills Noxon, born August 25, 1964, is an American television and film writer. She is known for her work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Personal Life

Noxon was born in Los Angles, California.[1] She has a brother, Christopher. She attended Oakes College at the University of California, Santa Cruz and graduated in 1987 with a major in theater.[1]

Noxon married Jeff Bynum in August 2000.[2] She has two children.[3]


She was a writer and consulting producer on the television show Glee. She joined the writing staff in 2011 for Season 3 along with five other writers. She is well known for writing for and producing the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

She has written two episodes for Glee, Extraordinary Merry Christmas and Choke.

She later revealed that she would not be returning for the Fourth Season.
