Samantha Marie Ware, born September 03, 1991 [1], is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her role as Nabulungi Hatimbi in The Book of Mormon National Production. She had a guest recurring role as the smart and sassy Jane Hayward in the sixth season of Glee.
Personal life
Ware was raised in Nebraska and had no acting training prior to her theatre work and had only sung in her church choir.[2]
She did attend college to become a music teacher while minoring in journalism, however she would leave in order to audition for The Lion King.[3]
Career
After a year of college, Ware took a trip to Chicago and auditioned for a role in The Lion King and six months after she received the part of Nala. Shortly after she managed to land a role in The Book of Mormon, coming from a semi-religious family Ware wasn't aware of how her family would accept the news but they loved it, for which she received the Helen Hayes award for best supporting actress.[1]
Ware will make her 54 Below debut in a new connect called My Little Planet on July 25.[4]
