Scream

Scream by Michael and Janet Jackson is featured in Michael, the eleventh episode of Season Three. It is sung by Artie and Mike.

Scream is the third song in the Michael Jackson tribute episode. It is a dream sequence of Artie that involves Mike, that begins after Artie gets angry because he's tired of himself and the Glee Club being terrorized, and because he is angry at Mr. Schuester since he doesn't tolerate violence and thinks they should sing instead. For the performance, the original music video was re-created. At the end of the dream sequence, when Artie snaps back into reality, Mr. Schue is seen calling Artie's name a few times before the latter rolls himself out of the choir room.

Trivia[]

The set for Scream took a lot of work to build. It is said to be one of the most difficult sets ever made on Glee.
This is Artie's third dream sequence performance after Safety Dance and Stronger.
- Ironically, all three of them start with the letter 'S'.
This is the second performance where Artie dances out of his wheelchair, and both of them includes Mike dancing.
This is Mike's only duet with someone other than Tina.
This is one of the performance which is slightly similar to the official music videos. The others being Vogue, I'm a Slave 4 U, Me Against the Music, Baby One More Time, Black or White, It's Not Right But It's Okay, This Is the New Year, Nasty/Rhythm Nation, Take on Me and Thousand Miles.
- This performance was a tribute to the actual music video which is extremely similar.
A few lyrics were altered due to swearing in the original version of the song.
