Telephone by Lady Gaga feat. Beyoncé is featured in Audition, the first episode of Season Two. It was sung by Rachel and Sunshine.

While Rachel is posting up recruitment posters for New Directions in the girl's bathroom, Rachel greets Sunshine and takes notice of her after seeing her enjoy the Empire State of Mind performance. She attempts to recruit Sunshine and goes to put up some more posters but as Sunshine puts in her headphones and sings along to Lady Gaga's Telephone, Rachel realises the true potential and breaks into song with Sunshine. Mid-performance, Sue comes into the bathroom, and yells "SHUT UP!" Rachel then tells Sunshine that the event never happened or took place and storms out of the girl's bathroom.

This was the first song released of Season Two, being broadcasted online a week before the airing of the episode.
This was the second song that other two girls confront each other. First is The Boy Is Mine.
This is Sunshine's first song and only duet.
This is the second time Rachel sings a Lady Gaga song as a duet, first being Poker Face with Shelby.
This was the only song of Season Two to go top 10 on iTunes in the UK. Despite getting to #9 on iTunes, it only officially charted at #25.
This is the first of two songs Sunshine sings in her debut episode, the other one being Listen.
This is Rachel's 50th overall released song.
