Hey Guys! So one of my real life best friends recently started writing a glee fanfiction. It’s a star trek crossover, and those aren’t very common, so ufortunately not many people will read it. If any of you happen to like Star Trek: the Next Generation, please check it out by clicking HERE. Here’s a little preview of the story, if you like it please click on the link above so you can read the rest and review. I’m sure it would mean a lot to her.
Glee-Trekking- Chapter One[]
Finn Hudson was an average boy living in an average town in Ohio, he wasn't what you would call the brightest boy in his school… or anywhere for that matter. Finn was a completely normal guy but in the end sometimes it's the dullest, dumbest people that get destined for greatness. You see Finn Hudson was about to learn just how messed up this galaxy really is.
Finn Hudson walked into the choir room just like every afternoon after school. Finn wanted nothing more then to lie down on the floor and go to sleep at this point but there was still one more hour of glee club ahead of him. The moment he stepped through the door Rachel his overly preppy, slightly obsessive, girlfriend saw him and ran over to his side.
"Finn, oh-my-god I've been waiting forever to tell some one…" She pulled him over to the chairs and had him sit in the one next to hers.
"Finn, so last night I had this crazy dream that I was dictator of Australia and the entire school was bowing at my feet, but anyways when I woke up you will never guess what amazing idea I got. Come on guess."
"Uhh…"
"Annie! You know, the musical with the orphan girl"
" No actually…"
"Well, then it's kind of obvious which mash up I came up with. It's a hard knock life and Womanizer by Brittany Speares.
"Wait, what does that have to do with the dictator dream?" Finn asked in confusion.
"It's okay, I had a feeling you wouldn't make the connection. So what do you think?" She looked at Finn expectantly and Finn was about to compliment Rachel (although he had never heard of either of those songs before) when Mr. Shuester walked in the door. Rachel sprang up out of her chair and ran to Mr. Shuester bubbling with excitement. Finn watched her go still even more confused then before.
"I wouldn't want to be in a world where she was dictator." Artie said as he rolled past Finn's chair. He gave a shudder at the thought.
"Poor pandas." Brittany thought sadly.
"Brittany, that's Asia. I think you mean kangaroos." Tina corrected Brittany who was sitting behind her.
"Whoa, don't go picking at my girl little Ms. I'm too proud an Asian to let anyone make a mistake about my country." Santana burst in. She gave Tina an evil glare before turning to Brittany patting her on the shoulder as she reassured Brittany that there were pandas in Australia. Tina was about to point out that Asia wasn't a country but decided that would be a bad idea so instead she shut her mouth and didn't comment.
Rachel came skipping back to her seat and Mr. Shuester began the lesson. It only took Finn a moment to blank out completely. His eyes blurred and slowly his eyes shut.
Five minutes later Rachel was shaking Finn's shoulder for him to wake up.
"Finn…Finn!" He opened his eyes and looked around the room. Everyone was looking at him, he wiped the bit of drool that had escaped his mouth with the back of his hand and Quinn made a face.
"I heard that people who nap during the day were raccoons in their past life which means they're nockterbo. I guess that would mean they eat from garbage cans too. I wonder if Finn eats from a garbage can." Whispered Brittany to Santana. Santana didn't bother correcting Brittany that it was nocturnal not nockterbo or bother commenting at all for that matter. She just nodded with fake understanding.
"Sure Brittany." She whispered back.
"Hey Finn, are you okay?" Mr. Shuester asked Finn with concern.
"Yeah, yeah… I'm fine. Can I go get a drink?" Finn wanted a break from the quire room and Mr. Shuester's long boring speeches.
"Sure, take it easy Finn… Okay so back to what I was saying. At nationals this year the judges are going to want to see…" Finn left the choir room rubbing his neck. The halls were quiet and the sun was shining through the windows of the school. Finn found the water fountain and took a long sip of the luke warm water. He took his time as he made his way back not wanting to listen to another word out of Mr. Shuester's mouth. However he did eventually find the right hall and saw the open door to the choir room, but something was wrong. It looked like… it looked like something inside the choir room was glowing. An eerie light was radiating out of the open door although from where Finn was standing he could not see what was inside. Maybe Puck had set the piano on fire as a practical joke… except that didn't seem very practical or likely. Finn cautiously walked down the hall way afraid (for some reason) of what he might find in the room. The glowing didn't stop. He looked into the room.
Okay something was defiantly up. Three feet or so behind the door where the choir room should have been there was a huge pure white mass of light. Rachel, Mr. Shuester, Artie, Brittany, Puck, Tina, Sam, Mike, Quinn, Mercedes, Santana… where were they?
The light seemed to be expanding towards Finn and although the only religious experience Finn had ever been through was a grilled cheese sandwich, he decided it wasn't a very good sign. Finn stepped back blocking the intense brightness with his hand. He was just about to turn and run when the light exploded.
