Is it just me or is there a bit of a ship war happening between Finchel (Finn and Rachel) and Faberry (Quinn and Rachel) at the moment? Finchel fans are preparing themselves for The First Time when Rachel and Finn do the deed, while Faberry shippers are putting evidence together for a kiss in I Kissed A Girl. In Silly Love Songs Quinn asks if it is possible to love two people at once, for her Finn and Sam. I love both these ships, but for once I think Finn is right, you eventually have to choose. So here is the ultimate weigh up between Finchel and Faberry.
Finchel has been around since the beginning, Rachel falling for Finn in Pilot and their first kiss in Showmance. They have been a core

First Kiss
couple in the show, though they have only been together for eleven full episodes out of the show’s current run of 47.Other episodes they aren’t a couple, breaking up or getting back together. Finchel was my first ship, and watching the show I wish to have it no other way. They have “proven harmonies” that usually lead to competition wins, that’s if they don’t kiss and miss. I totally predicted that by the way. The classic love story of the popular Quarterback and the ‘loser’ gives hope to all singles out there, but somewhere along the line, e.g. a few weeks ago everything Finn did started to annoy me.
It might have been when I bought season 2 on DVD, or it could have started before then, but Finn really gets on my nerves now. Whether it is his inability to choose his girlfriend, like seriously, how many times has he gone from Rachel to Quinn and back again? How he never understands what is happening around him, or that he seriously believes that God is speaking to him through a sandwich. Mostly just in Silly Love Songs and when he was trying to get Quinn back in season 2, thinking he can ‘fix up everything from last year’ or that ‘it never worked with Rachel because I wasn’t over Quinn’. Finn with Rachel though, is sweet and although I would have liked Rachel to keep her not-until-twenty-five plan, I am excited to see how it will happen in two episodes time.
Faberry, for the most part, is a fantasy ship, but that doesn’t mean I don’t dream about them. The other night they kissed in my dream, I also was on the set of the show, so I’m not sure what was happening, but it was one of the best dreams ever. If you have read one of my other blogs http://glee.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:All_Remembering/What_ever_happend_to_Quinn_Fabray%3F)
, which I suggest you do, although I have calmed down a bit since then, you would know that I
think Quinn around Rachel is a different, better person. The fact that Lea and Dianna are BFF’s and former roommates and their moments on screen, if they aren’t insults, are sweet brought up this pairing. With the knowledge that 10% of the world’s population is gay, having half of the glee club playing on the other team would further my non-glee loving friends to have more reason to say that glee is ‘gay’, not that I care at all.
Finn is a giant and Rachel isn’t the tallest person in the world so they sometimes look out of balance. Quinn on the other hand is only a bit taller than Rachel. Faberry is great in Fanfiction, if you want some amazing, and plausible stories I’ll get them to you, but if they actually do it on the show, they better do it right. Getting them together could destroy both their characters but a friendship would be more than appreciated.
