Disney is the first ever Disney tribute episode of Glee.

Santana feels like she's being a burden on Kurt and Rachel after moving into their apartment unannounced in Diva. Back at McKinley, Will returns and gives the glee club an assignment, which most of them seem excited about, of Disney songs. Marley has fallen in love with Jake, but she still has Ryder in the back of her mind and doesn't know what to do about it.

The episode starts off with the glee club in the choir room with Finn. Mr. Schue surprises them when he returns from his trip and gives them the Disney assignment. To start the week off, he sings You've Got a Friend in Me from Toy Story to the glee club and Finn with his guitar. Finn looks uneasy throughout the song because he doesn't know if he should tell Will that he kissed Emma in the last episode or not.

Marley is at her locker when Jake comes up and they start talking. Marley sees Ryder walking behind Jake and can't keep her eyes off of him while Jake is talking to her because she kind of has feelings for Ryder. She walks away distraught.

Meanwhile in New York, Santana thinks that maybe moving in to Kurt and Rachel's apartment unannounced wasn't a good idea after all. She gets the impression that Kurt and Rachel are stressed because they have another person living with them. They inform Santana that that's not the case as they abruptly leave the apartment to go to class.

Back at McKinley, Brittany performs When Will My Life Begin from Tangled in the choir room for her Disney assignment. Everyone seems to enjoy it.

In the teachers lounge, Will eats lunch with Finn and Beiste. Will tells them that Emma has been really stressed about their upcoming wedding and asks for their advice. Finn sits silently while Beiste does most of the talking.

In the choir room, Marley is sitting with Brittany, Kitty, Tina, and Unique. She tells them about her situation involving Jake and Ryder and they give her their advice with Kitty saying something sarcastic. After they talk, Marley leaves the choir room and bumps into Jake in the hallway. After a brief interaction, the music to I Won't Say (I'm in Love) from Hercules starts playing. It starts off with Marley singing while walking down the hallway. Then she's back in the choir room singing next to Jake while everyone goes about their business and not noticing she's singing like how Mercedes did in Spotlight in Season Three. After this, she's singing next to Jake again but this time at the cafeteria table. Marley finishes the song in The April Rhodes Civic Pavilion in an outfit that resembles Meg's outfit from Hercules when she sings this song and the New Directions Girls singing backup dressed as the Muses.

Sue is in her office with Becky. Sue tells Becky that she's had enough of the girls at McKinley and is thinking about quitting. She looks out of the window through the blinds at the students passing by and starts singing Poor Unfortunate Souls from The Little Mermaid. She sings it down the hallway while throwing kids into lockers. Next, she sings in the gymnasium while the Cheerios are practicing their routines. It ends with Sue back in her office, plopping down in her chair, looking unbothered.

Back in New York, Santana is cooking dinner when Kurt and Rachel return. They notice that she seems sad and asks what's wrong. She tells them that she's gonna move out to get out of their hair but they reassure her that they like having her around and want her to stay. The music to Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast starts to play as they dance around the apartment. During the song, they play dress up with Rachel and Santana dancing around in big princess-like dresses and Kurt in a bedazzled suit like he wore for It's All Over in Season Three. It ends with the three of them plopping down on the couch together, laughing and full of joy.

In the choir room, Mr. Schue walks in and talks to the glee club when Sue walks in and interrupts him. As usual, she informs them of her plan to sabotage the glee club once and for all. I Just Can't Wait to Be King from The Lion King starts playing as they sing to Sue, reminding her that they aren't going anywhere anytime soon. We get solos from Artie, Blaine, Jake, Kitty, and Tina and Sue singing Zazu's parts in the song. Sue storms out of the choir room with New Directions following her. They all end up in the auditorium with New Directions dressed in clothing that resembles The Lion King's aesthetic. Throughout the song, New Directions does their choreography and sings to Sue, as if they're taunting her. Unique does some ad-libs at the end. When the song ends, Sue storms out as Will and Finn applaud them.

I Just Can't Wait to Be King from The Lion King is featured in the Disney tribute episode of Season Four. It is sung by the New Directions and Sue.

I'm gonna be a mighty king so enemies beware

Well I've never seen a king of beasts with quite so little hair

I'm gonna be the main event, like no king was before
I'm brushing up on looking down
I'm working on my (New Directions: roar)

Thus far, a rather uninspiring thing

Artie with New Directions:
Oh, I just can't wait to be king

No one saying do this

No one saying be there

No one saying stop that

Tina (with Kitty):
No one saying (see here)

Now see here!

Free to run around all day
Free to do it all my way

Well I think it's time that you and I arranged a heart to heart

Kings don't need advice from little hornbills for a start

If this is where the monarchy is headed, count me out!
Out of service, out of Lima
I wouldn't hang about
This child is getting wildly out of wing

Oh, I just can't wait to be king

Everybody look left

Everybody look right

Everywhere you look I'm
Standing in spotlight

Not yet

New Directions:
Let every creature go for broke and sing
Let's hear it in the herd and on the wing
(and Unique: It's gonna be king Simba's finest fling)

Blaine with New Directions (Unique):
Oh, I just can't wait to be king (woah-oh)
Oh, I just can't wait to be king (to be king)
Oh, I just can't wait… (wait)
To be king
