Hi everyone! It is just over a month until Season Five premieres, so it's finally time for us to choose the new Update Team! They all did a great job last season updating the pages each week, but I'm hoping we can do even better this season. In case any of you are unaware, the Update Team consists of a number of users that are each assigned a page to update following an episode, in which they summarise their character's plot in said episode. This team is completely reliant on users helping out, so I'm hoping we can meet if not exceed the huge amount of applications we got last time! If you are interested in applying for the team, leave a comment below telling me what page you would like to be responsible for and I'll go over all the applications and select the team.
When going over the applications, I'll be taking a few things into consideration. If users who did a good job in the team last season wish to apply again, it is likely they will have priority over less experiences users, but don't let this put you off. It is always good to get some new people in the team each season and many of the users who were previously part of it are now inactive or have left. If you have a good amount of article edits, a good history here on the wiki and a willingness to fulfill the duties of the Update Team, then you will definitely be seriously considered for a position. Something I would suggest you do as well is possibly putting a second choice in your application, as there are some pages that are highly popular and you end up missing out on your first choice.
