You Learn/You've Got a Friend by Alanis Morissette/Carole King is a mash-up that is featured in Jagged Little Tapestry, the third episode of Season Six. It is sung by the Alumni and New Directions, with solos from Brittany, Kurt, Quinn, Rachel, Santana, and Tina.
On the middle walkway of the auditorium, Rachel and Kurt talk to the New Directions, who are sitting along with Brittany, saying how they started to get together and work properly with each other. Madison states that sounds like they're congratulating themselves. Tina walks in saying "you'll get used to it". Then Rachel, Kurt, Tina, and Brittany sing the song to the new members as Santana joins them. They all goes up to the stage with the kids, as Quinn and Puck join them on stage. The New Directions seperate from the alumni, as the alumni sings to them. Rachel and Kurt share a hug as the song ends.

- This is the only song in Jagged Little Tapestry that isn't a duet.

- Brittany's clothes in this performance are the clothes she wore in Glee Season 6 photo shoot.
Errors
- Near the end of the song when the alumni are facing the New Directions, Brittany can be seen next to Tina with Santana on the outside, then in the next shot Santana is next to Tina with Brittany on the outside, in the shot after that Brittany is back again next to Tina with Santana on the outside.
- At 1:09, Santana turns to leave holding Brittany's hand, but at 1:11 they are both still in the middle.
- At 1:08, the New Directions and Alumni are walking down the stairs to the stage, but at 1:13 they are at the top of the stairs headed down.
